I would consider counselling. Sex toys and masturbartion will only take you so far, you will get lonely and want to be with someone who is interested in you sexually, other than being a sperm receptical. If he won't go to counselling, keep talking to him, tell him you need him to give a bit more sexually, direct his hands, ask him to watch you masturbating. Above all keep talking to him about it, that way, when you fall in love with someone who wants to please you, at least it won't bea surprise to him.
