Alrighty here. I go to a private catholic school. I can't wear skulls on any of my clothes and junk when there are skull on important religious items to remind us of death. What do you think? Also... in my dresscode handbook it say that trends in clothes and makeup will be delt with as seen. Do you think it would be alright if I wore thick black eyeliner?

I used to go to a private Catholic school, and after I left apparently the dress code got a lot stricter. They're not allowed to wear makeup or nail polish; no hoops, only studs; and only one bracelet or watch on one wrist. Of course, most people broke dress code and got in trouble for it. The school also requires students to wear ugly uniforms and have shirts tucked in. So honestly, it doesn't sound like you have it too bad.

And if you want to get in trouble, go right ahead and wear the eyeliner and skulls or whatever. If you want to do a test run, get one of your more rebellious friends to wear the stuff first and see how the teachers react.

It really sucks to have all those rules, but someday you'll be out of there. I hated my school- it was full of snobs, I had no friends, and there was an extremely strict dress code. The freedom feels nice. ;)

Good luck!

Any uniform policy is unfair and if it ain't in the handbook, its okay.
If anyone gives you lip, tell them it isn't mentioned in the book.
