Since pi is an infinite number, there is no correct answer for this. You can not get a square root (a number that when multiplied by itself gives the supplied number) of an unending number.

Take out your calculator.
Hit the "PI" button.
When "3.14159286" comes on the screen, hit the "square root" key.

YOU WILL GET AN ERROR MESSAGE. "PI" is something called an irrational number. It never ends! Therefore the square root is also an irrational number. If your calculator is confused, why shouldn't you be?

Guess, calculate, and refigure.

And gripe. Don't forget to gripe!
