Some people are so paranoid that they won't even talk to people online... while others are crazy in their "MySpace HeadSpace"...

My wife and I met a couple on-line. We met for a vacation in Hawaii a few years ago. Since then, we met again on vacation in Hong Kong. Other people that we have met on-line, met us in New York.

The internet is a great place to communicate. Naturally, you have to be street smart.

Sure, some people I met online I can talk to about way more things then I could ever to some of my friends offline.
I think online friends are the best especially when they live far away because they can't spread your business and are usually more open and real..

It sounds crazy when it's laid out but, yes I do. Very hard to get used to the idea but still, there it is. What a world! Astounding! Ghostly friends from somewhere beyond, yet they are very interesting to me and I find myself thinking of them the way I'd think of my......local friends, real space friends; gosh I don't know what the terminology is! I'm amazed by this, yet it's early days for me and the computer so it's probably old hat around here.

Personaly, I beyond consider my "online friends" real friends. My online friends are mostly from my cyber school, we consider each other brothers and sisters cause we are so close. I haven't met them yet, but I can't wait for the day that I meet them.

The word friend is used loosely. They are many types of friends. Online friends are acquaintances basically.

Heck No. It's all a game. 90% of stuff people say are made up to humor or impress strangers. It's fun and harmless unless you take it seriously.

Yes, but a good point in mind is treating them like AIs from Matrix.
