Can you say LAWSUIT?
Somebody, somewhere, will eventually try to sue Yahoo!
Beacuse they got addicted and left their baby in the crib for 4 days straight and had them taken away by social services!

I think it's so you come back again and again. It'll be unfair if someone sits there and answers questions until they're at a high level. If there werent any points given everytime you answered a question, i dont think that many people would even visit yahoo answers. With points, there is addiction and a purpose to come back each day.

Must be, because I am on here most of the day (when I should be doing more constructive things) and most of the night (when everybody is sleeping)... The limited number of questions saves me ....

i don't know but once you get up in the higher levels there is no limit. I was on a role the other day and reached my limit it was really annoying.

So you will think twice before answering a question with "I don't know". It doesn't seem to work though.
