My partner is the one person I can't do without. We compliment eachother. Help, support, laugh at each others jokes, provide a shoulder to cry on, comfort eachother, have fun, travel and just want to be in each others company. Its hard to explain. You just KNOW.

That time: I was in the service for just two years when I first had a glimpse of my wife (she was a student). I wrote love letters to her but she rejected all my letters. Her rejections further encouraged me to approach her.... we became friends....

After her final examinations, she was suppose to leave for her hometown. It was at that time I felt that she was made for me only.... the reason is that I coudl feel very lonely inspite of the fact that she never spent a night alone with me and it sadden me with the very thought that she would be leaving for her home..... something inside me was cajoling me to propose to her which I did and we became husband and wife... today we have two beautiful daughters

we started out as friends. we got to be good friends. neither of us thought that it would be anything other than friendship. after about a year of being best buds, neither of us was in a relationship at the time and just starting seeing each other. we have been together for 9 years now. we have seen each other through a hell of a lot and we are still sticking around for more.

my partner is very caring, there is no question of messing around. thats not the kind of relationship that we have. between the two of us, we have 8 kids and 10 grandkids. neither of us are willing to give up the others kids, so we work the problems out as they come along.

at this point we are trying to get custody of my partners daughter from michigan. ( we live in missouri) we know that neither of us are going anywhere, we know what the other has been through and will and will not allow. its nice to know that you dont have to worry about who your partner had before you.

My reason for getting married was because women want that, and she deserved and had earned it. I put up with so many games and crap from all the other women I ever dated and so when I finally found one that was sincere, sweet, and reasonable, I was relieved and prepared to make a life-long commitment.

She had the best pair of Black and Tan coon hounds in three counties, and I could not pass that up. And she is a good cook she won top prize for her cornbread at the county fair two years in a row.

we have alot in common, ideals, philosophy, goals etc. after a year we had basically decided that we were going to be together forever anyways. we spent a couple of weeks talking about getting married so i went ahead and got a ring and before she knew it she had it on her finger and we were engaged.

How I knew my wife was "IT": I would look at women and fantasize about having sex with them. When I started fantasizing about her being the mother of my children, I knew I was in trouble!
