What steps are you taking to use less of that most important comodity, water?

I don't waste it on washing a car.
But then I am happy to say that I do not drive.

Low-flush toilets are popular where I live. I'm often in an area where water is conserved by collecting rain water. But don't conserve water by drinking less water, and always wash your hands! Lawns can be left to go brown in summer, or get plants that don't need a lot of water. And get rid of those golf courses in areas that require so much irrigation! People can play tennis or run!

I've got problems with you save the planet types. Let us recap: this planet is made up of 70% water and if you think water is scarce try this. Maybe it's a capitalist plot to charge a gullible public a lot of money for an abundant resource.

i dont admit this in everyday conversation but personally i pee in the toilet 3 or 4 times before i flush...............i do think about the enormous amount of water that is wasted everyday needlessly

if the world ran out that would be one of the first things id think..........about all that was wasted

Aha! That line came from Robert DeNero's RTV in "Meet the Fockers" I believe. I have that sign in my bathroom and follow it and I always shower with my neighbors wife.

in conserving water, energy, etc, use as u feel necessary, just do not waste them. waste them, meaning, letting water flow out when not using them; putting on the lights when no one is in the room, etc. but if u need to use them, use them and dont punish yourself.
