Ok i have a quiz the fist day of school on the american flag and i just need a recap. Like how many stars and stripes what they stand for and like who came up with it or whatever! All the goods please!

The first version of the "stars and stripes" was representing the 13 colonies - 13 stars and 13 stripes. As the country grew, the number of stars was increased, with each star representing a state of the union (currently 50 of them). There are still only 13 stripes on the flag, representing the original 13 colonies that started this nation.
There were many different designs submitted for the flag design, but I do believe it was some seamstress named Betsy Ross that designed the flag. I could be wrong on that part, but the beginning is true.

All i can say is that u really need to take a look at the flag with full attention and think.
Actually, it is obviously to see that there is 50 stars those represent the 50 states and 13 stripes represent those British colonies.
Lastly, u need to learn about the one dollar bill in case because it has so much meaning in there.

13 stripes for the original colonies.
red for the blood that was spent, and white for the purity of their ideals.
A field of blue behind the stars to signify their origins.(The british flag)
