I've never heard of a word to describe the "3" as "1"; that's probably because there isn't one; Joseph was considered an ordinary man who really had no special aspects except that he took Mary "on" after she was with child (Jesus).

I believe Jesus, Mary and Joseph are referred to as the Holy Family. You will find the term used in other languages; for instance, Antoni Gaudi's magnificent uncompleted church in Barcelona, Spain, is called the Temple Expiatori de la Sagrada Familia.
By the way, 'pieta' is not a collective term for Jesus and Mary. It refers to an artistic representation, such as a statue, featuring Mary mourning the dead Christ (usually on her lap) after he was taken down from the cross.

Pieta means compassion in Italian, not Jesus and Mary - just the emotion that is being displayed.

in case you may have confidence the thought God created the completed universe with in basic terms a be conscious, or that he would desire to create the 1st individual with the help of respiration on a pile of airborne dirt and airborne dirt and dust, then the thought he would desire to reason a woman to grow to be pregnant without intercourse is in basic terms as obtainable. the two you suspect that God can carry out any miracle he desires or needs to accomplish, or you do no longer. If he fairly is "God", then he would reason a woman to grow to be pregnant without intercourse. If he can no longer try this, then he's no longer "God". you may have a confusing time detect a scientific way that Mary would have conceived through fact it became into no longer completed by technology, It became right into a miracle, which with the help of definition is something that occurs opposite to the guidelines of technology and nature.

I've been a Christian all my life and I've never heard of a word to describe the three of them that doesn't describe ANYONE else.
The only thing that really comes to my mind is, "Family."

From a sociological standpoint, they are one of the earliest recorded "mixed family".
