I think they are radical opposites. The first pair is a little stripper-y, but so what. I have a similar pair, but they're just classic pumps with no little details. If you're used to walking in very high heels, you shouldn't have a problem with those ones. They don't really hurt, just make your toes a little numb after a few hours.
The second pair I'm not really into, but if you like them, I'm sure you could find a way to pull them off. But if you have big feet, then don't get them. It will just make them look bigger and you'll end up looking really goofy.

Technically both pairs are awesome.
The first is like an homage to the swinging 20s-30s ----> very classic. It's also in style right now.
The second is more work appropriate, but could look cool with skinny jeans.
Both are in Black; can't go wrong in that. I guess... for daily use, go with the ones by Guess? they're "safe", I agree but will go with anything and you'll use it more often than the other pair.

The first ones look like trampling/hooker/dirty stripper shoes.
The 2nd ones are OK. I'd wear them with some jeans or like some long pants.I'm ont into the whole low heel thing. But they are cute though.

#2 - Not bad. I don't like the long pointy toe look but they would be OK.

not really either but if i had to pick one i'd pick the first one but wear them with jeans (dont like the part wear you time them) but the second one is more like a classic/work kinda look but would look reallu cute with jeans

I like the first one, more elegant. The flats are comfortable, I suppose, but, don't have any sex appeal...I can't believe I am on this site looking at shoes... My family would never believe it... Keep this our secret...
