me and this guy have been dating for a month everything is going well we are sooo close like gf and bf we do everything that people do in relationships he calls me baby....etc but his job (military)takes up his time he works 20 hour shifts non stop i work on the same base with him so i will see him working but he said that he does'nt want a girlfriend because he doesn't want her to feel ignored because of his job he said that he loves spending time with me but it will be soo hard for him to hear me say i miss him and him not being able to spend time with me the way i want....i'm confused i don't know what to say or do about this because there is something there between us and he's afraid for us to move forward it's hard with the little time he will have for me but i really like him and i feel that i can handle it if we get together how do i tell him without being too pushy?

If you guy's love spending time with each other than all is said. Don't be too pushy, go for it.
You know what? He will soon realize that he cannot live without you anymore, especially when you guys are spending so much time together. He will let his guard down. Love will be stronger. Don't worry. Leave your confuse face at home and bring your happy face along.
The feeling of LOVE will hit him when he least expects it. Go for it.

It's quite arrogant for him to feel he can make that decision for you: "I don't think you can handle being away from me, so I refuse to get into a relationship with you." That sounds fairly disrespectful to me.
Are you two sleeping together? If you are, he's definitely only keeping you around for sex. If you want to take the relationship to the next level and he's refusing to engage in that way, you need to move on because he's just playing games with you.

Well, it seems to me that he is just more into his job right now. He probably wants to be more serious, but is scared to show love for you. He might be scared of relationships...either that he just doesn't want to get too serious with you. But never give up...keep trying...Good Luck! =)

I think you should explain to him that you feel a connection to him. Tell him you are willing to accept things the way they are, let him know that you know all the downfalls but you'd still like to give it a try.
