Usually it refers to an online course but it could mean that the class meets at another location (ie rotc classes) or, and this is common with state schools, a school will offer a course but it is actually taught at another school or another campus of the school (for example Eastern Michigan students are offered a course taught at University of Michigan or Uconn offers a class but it is taught at Uconn-stamford campus and not the main campus at storrs).
Either way, the class involves travel or online.

Colleges and Universities sometimes teach courses in the communities that surround them. Sometimes in the local high school buildings at night, or at various work places, etc. These course sometimes are a little less expensive than those taught on campus, and are often taught by "adjunct" or part-time faculty who may have other jobs by day. The colleges and universities sometimes limit the number of credits from off-campus courses that may be used to earn a degree. (or not).

It can mean one of several things:
1. A regular college course that is not taught at the regular campus, but at another location.
2. A course that is taught online, through the web.
3. A course that is taught through some other form of distance education, such as compressed video (where you are in another location but you can see and hear the class and professor through video and vice-versa).

There are lot of Bachelors Degree related to Science. You can get a B.Sc Chemistry/Maths/Physics/Botany/Zoology. Better you can take the first three for a MBA..after MBA basically needs a degree with maths. After completion of your degree you can immediately opt out for Civil Services.. Its also a kind of management. Image how good it would be to have something like S. Megha IAS. U will have a district under your control.Police officers coming behind you.. The country will get a good IAS office...

Generally it's a class held somewhere other than the school campus. Like a church, park building or business.

Either one you can take at home via the "net" or a course offered at another location: hospital, Firehouse, Police Station, etc.

I believe it would be something you would do at home, but I'd look more on-line to see what it might be or just call the place and question it.
Take care.
