Really only you can decide what to do with your life. Try finding something that you really enjoy doing. "Follow your bliss." And while doing that "something" that makes you blissful, try to be a positive contributor to society. Not only will you feel good about doing something you really love, you'll feel even better that you're making a difference in others' lives.
P.S. - If you let someone else tell you what direction your life will take, you'll only end up being miserable. Take a chance on yourself! And keep this in mind when opportunities arise: Don't arrive at the end of your life saying "if only I had done ..." Live with a positive attitude of "no regrets."

I would ask my self a few questions... Why do you think it is your life? What is life? What does it mean to live a good life? What is death? What does it mean to die a good death?
Ethics of death (what it means to die a good death) is a topic that is becoming pretty big in the philosophical and theological world. Im not talking about dying in terms of the manner in which one dies, but the process before and during the death. The stoic philosopher Seneca sums it up nicely:
"Living is not the good but living well. The wise man therefore lives as long as he should, not as long as he can. He will observe where he is to live, with whom, how, and what he is to do. He will always think of life in terms of quality not quantity... Dying early or late is of no relevance, dying well or ill is."
The worlds current population is estimated to be 5.7 billion people, and almost every two seconds a person dies. There will come a time when we all are starring death in the face; some of us will see a snarling beast, and some a flower. Life is short in light of history, how are we to live it? I wonder if we ought to live it remembering that one day we will all die.

Stephen Stills recorded a song called "Treetop Flyer" in it is the line "I don't do bidness that don't make me smile" (Yes, I know Jimmy Buffett covered it a couple of years ago) Anyway. Do what makes you smile. You must discover two things. 1) What do you like to do? and 2) What are you good at? With a little luck they will be the same thing. Then you will be truely blessed.

Change your thoughts and you will change your world. Never underestimate the power of hope. Hope sees the invisible, feels the intangible, and achieves the impossible. You make your own destiny as it is a matter of choice. It isnt something that you wait for, it is a thing to be achieved. I would suggest that you chose a job that you love and you will never have to work a day in your life.

You do realize, don't you, that the answers you get depend upon who you ask. Ask a priest and he may suggest you become a nun. Ask another needy person and you will get a hundred suggestions and a friend for life. Ask your mother and she will probably say, "Get married and give me a grandchild." Ask your father and may say, "Nothing, sweetheart, you just stay daddy's little girl." Ask a teen male and will probably suggest you pose for Playboy. Unless he's gay and if so, he may suggest you become an interior designer. (Note to gays: Get a sense of humor before you take it personal). Ask Osama Bin Laden and he may suggest you become a human bomb and kill the innocent. Ask me and I would ask, "What are your talents, what are you passionately interested in, how would you like to be remembered when you go to the next level of existence?"

I think what ever you have a passion for that is ethical and legal and will contribute to the greater good of you and anyone you are involved with. Find something you love and create a life for yourself from there. Noone can tell you what it is you should do but you.

Do whatever you like to do; turn a hobby into a career. But be sure you want to stick with this job for your entire life (if you intend to do so). That's my advice... 1_1
