To my knowledge Bush does not drink at all. He stopped drinking (Scotch) years ago. He most likely drinks water or Coke.

I wouldn't be surprised if he does. What I do know is that in 1976 he was arrested in Kennebunkport, Maine, for DUI. One thing that has come out in the news tonight is his propensity for "methane missions", "air biscuits", etc., considered OK in the privacy of his ranch in Crawford, but not as appropriate in the White House. How much of those can be traced to alcohol consumption as a contributing cause is a good question.

I think that we should believe President Bush when he tells us that he no longer drinks alcohol. There is no evidence to the contrary.

What does that matter? No one seemed to care when Clinton got up on the stand and committed perjury. If we don't care what he did in his spare time, why do you care what Bush does?
