Bring the car back, ask to speak with a manager, and ask them to kindly show you how they removed the rusty bolts.

If you don't get any satisfaction, contact the Attorney General in your state.

The BBB is not as useful as they used to be, I wouldn't bother.

there are 2 parts in your question. 1st if there is a leaking seal replaced then there should be no more leaks, Is there any leaks now? Verify with card board underneath when parked. If there is no leaks say over a period of three days in which the car have action every day .,then some thing was done to stop the leak. 2nd there may a skillful corner cutting way to change the seal . The book may say 5 hours but the experience tech may take 2hours but you will be charged for 5 hours If you have doubts about this mechanic work take the car to another shop to verify. The other shop will give u a solid to complain or not.

KINDA CONFUSED AS I HAVE NEVER HEARD OF THIS BEFORE
THE REAR END ONLY HAS A PINION SEAL AT THE DRIVE SHAFT AND AXLE SEALS
NEITHER ONE REQUIRES THE DIFFERENTIAL TO BE MOVED
HAVE IT CHECKED BY ANOTHER TECHNICIAN AND IF THERE IS A PROBLEM CONTACT BOTH THE MINISTRY OF TRANSPORTATION AND YOU SHOULD HAVE A GOVERNMENT OFFICE AS WELL TO LODGE A COMPLAINT OF UNFAIR BUSINESS PRACTICES
BUT GET IT CHECKED FIRST AS I HAVE SAID THIS DOES NOT SOUND RIGHT

File a complaint with your local Motor Vehicle Dept. If it's a licensed shop, MVD will get involved.
