Some argue that this has its origins in the dutch language, but there is good evidence that it came from a slang fad in 19th century US east coast -- an intentional mispelling of common phrases: In this case -- 'all correct' became 'oll korrect'. Then it was shortened to O.K., and eventually became the word okay.

There are several theories about the origins of this word, some of them apocryphal and none of them conclusive, although the suggested origin as an initialism of oll korrect has relatively widespread support.

my grandpa told me it started when there was this war and when it was over people would go around searching for dead people and if there were none they would say
"0 Killed" so they shortened it to 0K and i guess since then it means that everything is alright.
