This is for a Honors Science class and I'm pretty sure that is a measurement of weight but I just wanted to check!!!

you might want to drop science if you dont know what a liter is.

think of a 2 liter bottle of coke. Its a volume. Density is Mass/volume. Weight is mass under the effect of gravity.

its the metric measurement for volume and probably one of the most common in America. We use te measurement for things like "2 liter soda bottles."

I believe it's a unit of volume. A liter is 1000 cubic centimeters. It couldn't be weight, because a liter of water weighs a lot more than a liter of air.
