There are 3 types of jobs among sperm, and each sperm does one of them.
There are the hunters who hunt for the egg to fertilise.
There are the 'ambush sperm' who hang around waiting for 'foreign' sperm and attack them.
(Foreign meaning not yours)
There are 'search and destroy sperm' who actively hunt 'foreign' sperm to destroy them.
The 'ambush' and 'search and destroy' sperms roles are that of a support cast for the hunters.
So given that there are 3 functions, it is not surprising to have them behave differently and swim in different directions.

First of all how do you know your sperm is swimming the wrong way? Sperm can only be seen with a microscope. Second of all if you are ejaculating inside a woman then i guarantee your sperm are swimming the correct way. It is normal for semen to leak back out of a woman after ejaculation but the majority of the sperm actually swim inside the female looking for the egg to fertilize.

What direction is the wrong way? Out of the millions of the little guys that shot out only one of them needs to reach the target. They swim until they get there or die. That's their lot in life.
