Get the Harley! Just think, you can dress cool (like me) and put a good 500 miles a year on it like all the other Harley owners. If you're lucky, you may even get one that doesn't break down all the time like most of em. But just think how cool you'll be owning something nobody else has! And think how cool your neighbors will think you are when you get those loud pipes and you rip up and down the street - everyone loves that loud noise - almost as cool as living next to an airport! Yeah! go for it!

I've got to go with HD William and say Harley...
As long as you live under a mile from work (so you can walk the rest of the way on the days the Harley breaks down) the Harley should be perfect.
Mustang guys almost never dress alike and you can buy lots of outfits so you can look like all the other HD owners who wear "cool biker costumes"...

Ah, your question actually makes sense! I had my doubts initially.
Anyhoo....I'd go for the bike. You're probably going to need a car at some point, and the two of you can hardly expect that you'll ride a bike year round. So you really get two for one this way!
Plus, while I know next to nothing about Mustangs, I do know just a little. For one thing, it's a Ford, and all the Fords I've seen have a very long shift pattern. I actually test drove a Mustang a few years ago, and I expected it to be sportier, but nope - same setup as my SHO. Stretch to first gear, take a longgggg trip to second, wayyyyy over to 3rd.....
Also, I think you can find a sports car with more amenities. At the time I was looking, you couldn't even get a sunroof. The seats weren't all that comfy, and there was very little in the way of those really neat features you don't need but think are very cool.
On top of all that, I was VERY disappointed in the horsepower. Most of it seemed to be leaking out the tailpipe! I made a lot of noise going up the ramp, but I literally had a hard time overtaking Grandma next to me in her Olds.

Well, one of the first questions I would ask is "Do you have a motorcycle license?" If not ya might want to hold off on getting the Harley and get something a bit lighter and less expensive. It's not IF you will wreck but when and how badly. Also what are the traffic and weather conditions around you? You might not be able to use the bike year round in some locations. Also, do you have another form of transportation? It's tough to carry more than a single sack of groceries back from the store on a bike, and the toddlers carseat doesn't fit too well either.

Depends on the Harley...but if you really want a Harley, get a 5.0 mustang and sell it; then buy 2 Harleys.

Mustang V-6 or GT? i love the GT....especially the '05-06 models.
Get the Harley.....they hold their value so well that if you don't like it, you could probably sell it for what you paid for it and go get the Mustang.
