i tried isagenix....it is supposed to be a wonderful way to lose weight, but i found myself being hungry all the time, especially during the 'cleanse' portion (which is the first 3 days and then again a couple of weeks later). i thought the cleansing products (either tropical or berry flavor) tasted like crap. the only shake i liked was the chocolate if you really blended it well. the 'snacks' are more like chocolate flavored chalk, and they are supposed to hold you over like a granola bar or a banana is (i dont think so). personally i think there are better ways to lose weight - i lost 70+ pounds just exercising more and making better choices with food - cutting out soda and junk food, not eating out as much, eating more veggies...i dont think isagenix is going to be the best way to do it.

I've done Dr. Schultze's cleanses in the past with good results.

A friend who I highly respect told me about her transformative experience with Isagenix, so I tried it as well.

I didn't have as a transformative experience as she did, but then again I am generally much healthier than she was before she did the Isagenix cleanse. I thought the Isagenix 9-day cleanse was easier than the Schulze's 5-day liver cleanse in terms of convenience (everything is packaged for you) but more difficult in terms of food (not eating it and/or less of it). What I did experience from the cleanse was better sleep, more energy, more easily fatigued, more mental clarity and a personal emotional breakthrough. I was more fatigued because of the lower amount of calories involved but had more energy because I think my body was working more efficiently.

Dr. Schulze's products are of superb quality but the "character" of them is intense (in your face, they taste VERY VERY bad) as Dr. Schultze is an intense dude. Isagenix products are also of very high quality, but more mellow in character. I think both characters have merit, depends on what you want.

I used the 9day program and lost 8 lbs. but then I gained it right back. You have to stay on their maintenance program. However, I have tried lots of shakes through various comanies, even one I am a representative of, and I liked Isagenix's vanilla shake better than any of the others.
