I agree that government is doing what it's supposed to do- it's governing. I always thought the government supervises the country and aims to do what is best for people. I was never big into politics and mostly, I feel people should do what they WANT unless it harms another person (i.e. I disagree with cigarettes COMPLETELY because I have no problem with someone slowly killing themselves because they don't have respect for their own bodies BUT research has proved that cigarettes harm other people and we have NO choice in not letting it into our lungs). Now- unfortunately this doesn't really have anything to do with food. Let us look at the world today- obesity, diabetes, heart attacks, among other things which have a lot to do with the lack of a healthy diet. The numbers are growing. It's sad that people don't know when to say no to fat. Or they have to eat a hamburger for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. I think when people cannot make healthy decisions for themselves, maybe the government should step in. Just an opinion.
