I had a problem like that when I was a child and I needed surgery. Ask your doctor if she may have pyloromyotomy. It is a muscle at the end of the stomach to the intestine that contracts and lets food through may be seized. It is most noticed if it is projectile vomiting. nothing more frusterating than a sick child. I have a 3 year old, and when he starts to vomit (since birth) he doesn't stop. Your biggest worry at this point is dehydration. Make sure you're giving your baby about 1-2 oz of fluid every 30-45 minutes. probably an oz every 30 minutes considering her age. Pedialyte is great...there are also generic forms of it available. Keep in mind, if she keeps it down for even 20 minutes, you have made progress...and don't give up because she is throwing it all up...she needs you to try. Until she keeps things down, make sure you're just giving clear fluids (even if they have color) things like milk can just make it worse. When she is keeping the clear fluids down for 18-24 hours, you can try other foods (milk, etc) but start slowly.

Good luck! And keep in mind, if you absolutely can't handle it anymore, put her in a safe place (crib/basinett) and leave her for 10 minutes so you can have a break. actually, make sure someone else can be withher while you take a break as she is vomiting, because you don't want her to choke. Best wishes....I know it can be miserable!

Sometimes it is as simple as switching the type of formula. Some milk is too strong or sometimes they are allergic to a certain type of milk. It could be she is drinking it too fast, so when she needs to burp, her stomach is so full it becomes more than a burp, thus she vomits. Try feeding her a little less in between burps and see if this helps. I have been through 3 children and 7 grandchildren and have gone through this more than once. If however, you are not happy with the Dr.'s answer, you should visit another. I hope all is well.

theres nothin wrong with her my sons done it a few times since he was born. Hes now 2 months. Just give her warm milk often and in small amounts. My son also is sometimes sick when the air comes up some milk also comes up. She should get better if u give her small frequent feeds. If that doesnt work and she goes a day without eating take her to the hospital and they will have to give her drops that go into her veins it will stop her from starveing and get the doctors to do some tests on her. But try frequent feeds it works on most babies sometimes they get too full so its a very good way. Good luck!!

Babies sometimes have an upset stomach, just like adults. If she's vomited only once or twice and everything else is okay, then I would not worry about it. If she has a fever, a stiff neck, or if she is vomiting blood or anything that looks serious, then I'd get her to the doctor again. But babies throw up all the time for no serious reasons.

It's very normal for an infant to "spit-up" or vomit. If she only did it that 1 time, I wouldn't be a bit worried. If she is doing this a lot, then I'd be a little more concerned. But don't get too worried. It may be something as simple as a milk allergy and a change in her formula could cure it.

Sounds like your daughter may have had a little upset tummy. As long as it was just a once or twice thing, it is nothing to worry about. If she continues to vomit for more than a day, or shows signs of dehydration, go back to the doctor or get another doctor. Signs of dehydration include: no wet diapers, lack of tears, and dry mouth. If she is able to keep her milk down, you don't need to worry.

She could just have a tummy upset or if she's vomiting after each feed maybe you could mention lactose intolerance. In the UK that means that you need to use a soya milk thing (I used sma Wysoy). Maybe worth mentioning as it's very difficult to realise that this is the problem (took us about 6 months). Try asking maybe. Hope she gets better soon.

Make sure she does not
get dehydrated. A baby
can die from that. Keep
giving her water. Maybe
you could ask your drug
store pharmacist what
to give her that is sold
over the counter. I trust
the pharmacist just as
much as I trust the Dr.
They know just as much
about medicine, cause
they are the ones who
handle giving it out!!
Good luck to you both.

If the baby is actually vomiting (not just spitting up) at 2 1/2 months get her to emergency at once!! She could dehydrate
(lose fluids) very quickly.
