That's just their culture. They are happy in their own world and don't care about the rest of the world. If you'll notice, they tend to congregate in trailer parks and run down housing areas and they get jobs with other people who are like them. They even appear to have their own language and it is often littered with curses and hollered at maximum volume. They like to watch themselves on COPS and well they're trash and they're proud of it.

A commentator on television said that, "Bill Gates is the Britney Spears of China. The problem is that in the United States Britney Spears is Britney Spears."
Many people don't want to exert themselves, so they elevate Britney Spears above Bill Gates and aim to be cool.
