I don't know that I really agree that Hips Don't Lie is her biggest hit yet... I think some of her other songs got a pretty good run too... Suerte and Objection were pretty big here (Australia) when they first came out- they may not have been as catchy as Hips Don't Lie, but I think that they were stronger lyrically and appealed to a wider audience.

The song achieved a peak position of #13 until it was released digitally on May 27, 2006.

before hips don't lie it was probably "la tortura" from her fijacion oral album
whenever, wherever and underneath your clothes were also big hits that got her into the american pop scene (those were from laundry service)
don't bother is well known

before she was big in america there were many other hits...from done estan los ladrones and other albums...ojos asi was just one

THE most popular song is probably a matter of opinion, because certian songs are popular with latin crowds, american/english-speaking crowds, or both

Yeah, I basically observed/heard that song the day earlier to this, Its so sturdy. I understand the song, I communicate Portuguese that's particularly comparable to Spanish. And no i do no longer pay attention to the radio, I observed it on Vevo the day earlier to this.
