The article lists ten problems that are associated with women marrying when they are educated and employed. They are all valid and true statements, but not reasons to NOT get married. I believe Forbes listed that as the headline to manipulate people into reading it and thus your question should get many answers.

Men and Women marry regardless of carreer status all the time. The desire to be married is tied to much more than carreer and employablity status. There are so many more factors in the reasons to be married that if you hinge it solely on the carreer match, the marriage could be doomed from the start.

Closeness, sexual compatability, emotional security, someone to share life, someone to trust, love, procreation.

The challenges presented by a woman that is employed are not reasons to not get married, but could be greater challenges to overcome and provide a greater sense of accomplishment to those that do compared to those that have it easier with a more traditional marriage.

Women belong in the kitchen just as much as men do. Single incomes? Ever try living on that this day and age? This isn't the 50's.

Yes, anyone without a dick belongs in the kitchen. Where's the logic toe-head?? Is that really the point of the cited research. Sounds like there could be other implications, ya think??--words drip, drip, dripping in sarcasm here man. Looks like an inapplication of important research has occurred.

Statistically, I'm sure all those statements are true! If I was wealthy and successful on my own, what the hell do I need you for? Perhaps YOU could cook and clean and I could go to work, golf, and host "business dinners" at intmate restaurants on Friday nights while you watch the kiddos?

I can name the two reasons why you're asking this question: You're intimidated by women who are independent, work and earn more than you. And the number 1 reason? Because you're a a**hole who only wants to ask this question to get a rise out of women who read this.
