low muscle tone. I am planning on buying my daughter a stroller with what ever support she may need to sit up and see the world. It will need head support, a five point harness, possibly hip support. I am not looking for a really cheap one. I know to get what I want and what she needs that it is going to be kinda expensive. I am looking to go up to 300.00 or so. I was hoping someone might have suggestions on what company to go through to get everything I need it to have. I know that a regular stroller company should have ones with these specifications. Thanks for any input you may have. By the way my daughter is nine months old, weighs 12.5 pounds. I want one that can accomadate her for a while as she grows.

I am guessing that because your daughter has low muscle tone, you are using a physical therapist to help her. If you are I would check with them and see if you can get one through a medical equipment supply company. You may be able to qualify it as medical need and your insurance may be willing to pay for all or part of the stroller. A supply company will also be able to tailor fit the stroller to your daughters needs and be able to adjust it when she grows. I use a medical supply company for my child's wheelchair and I have seen demo models for strollers from infancy all the way up to adulthood, so I would try there first. Good luck to ya!!!

Here are some that I found. They seem to look great and have all the other things you're looking for and are also in your price range. Most of these can be used from infancy all the way through the toddler stage.

There ya go! Hope those help. In my opinion though, anything over $150 for a stroller is a bit wasteful. It's going to be pushed over rocks and dirt and who knows what else and the baby is going to spit up on it, spill things, get crumbs on it, etc. Buy a nice, cheaper stroller and use the rest of the money to buy your daughter other thigs she needs.

I found one at www.healthchecksystems.com, it is the Bertini TS Energy Stroller, it has all the features you need and it is also car seat compatable. It is currently on sale and offers free UPS ground shipping. It has several other options as well. This website has a wide array of strollers for all types of needs. Good Luck!

I HIGHLY recommend Chariot strollers. They are wonderful as far as flexability. they have a 5 point harness, baby bumpers (if needed) cup holders, for older baby, jogging wheel, stroller wheels, bike attachment, baby carrier, etc. This is what I have for my boys (they also have a double) and I absolutely love it. Like you said, not exactly cheap, but well worth the money spent.
