I think he is the coolest ever! my friends say he is a crazy killer...what do you think?

judging by the lack of knowledge in some of the answers i'll assume few of you have even read the Mangas or watched the later episodes. Garra is not some insane killer. he is the same as Naruto. like Naruto he also had a demon sealed inside of him as an infant. because of this fact everyone in the village of the sand is scared of Garra the same way everyone in the village hidden in the leaves is scared of and shuns Naruto. because of this Naruto and Garra become very close friends. Garra also decides to aim for some of the same goals as Naruto. Garra even becomes the leader of the village hidden in the sand long before Naruto becomes the leader of the Village hidden in the leaves.

I love Gaara!! He is one of my favorite chararcters. i think he is actually a good person. i think the reason he acts cold is because he is afraid of getting hurt. The people that he wanted to love him hated him. So he just gave up on love. Thats my opinion of my little Gaara. He is also one of the coolest characters!!

Gaara is awesome! He's not a crazy killer though..haha I think he was acknowledge to kill and live for yourself by his uncle or his whatever who was with him in the past. His errr...uncle or mother's older brother said love yourself and hate yourself thats a reason to live..crazily Gaara took it personally.

Gara is cool he comes of as this crazed person fightin with his inner demon and was feared cause of demon layin dorminted in him he kills to show his existence until he fault Lee and Naruto. But Naruto let him know being alone was painful but learn to have friends and be there for them was da source of real power once ya have someone to protect ya have no limit what ya capable of.

Gaara was creepy at first, but after he fought Naruto, he got cooler. And less creepy. Yeah.

yeah...! I belive he is...! Gaara became a good good after the Konoha Invasion Arc... 2 and a half years later after the departure of sasuke from konoha, gaara becomes cooler coz he became the 5th kazekage of the sand village...!!!!!

He used to be my favorite character after I read the manga, but after I watched up to episode 192 of Naruto, I had a different favorite character.

he is a very strong charecter. I DO NOT think he is crazy. i think he kills alot of people because he has been alone all his life. his mother didn't really like in fact no one did. that is why he kills alot because he is heartbroken!!!! but i think deep down his mother really loves him because when she died she turned herself into sand and was held in gaara's gard so that she will always be with him.
