I'm presuming you want an intelligent and cogent answer, so here it is.

A) Under NO circumstance let anyone release white ringneck doves. Those are the ones which can't survive and can't fly well.

B) HOWEVER, you can get the white dove release you want by having someone release White Racing Homers at your wedding. If there is a racing pigeon club in your area some of the members may fly whites and they may be willing to do it as a favor. I used to release my birds for a lot of folks, for weddings and/or funerals.

However, chances are you will have to go to one of the specialized businesses which now only release their birds for profit. Most charge anywhere from $150-300 per release.

You can check out http://www.white-dove-releases.com/
for some listings of companies and do some comparison if one of them is near to you.

BTW - Congratulations and have a happy life if you're planning a new marriage.

Most pet stores discourage this practice . The doves are domesticated , go free......can't find food ............then land exhausted by the dozens in people's backyards ..........

We shot ours at the local park, so it was just the cost of a few bullets, btw they didnt fly too well after that incident.
