Not Necessarily.
Bush's biggest victory so far is that we haven't been attacked again. If he loses that, he may be more hurt, than helped. Though you have a point that the politics of fear can often lend themselves to the advantage of republicans.

It's kindof a stupid question, the only attack that Bush could let happen would be during his final years in office. The result of such an attack would be to make him look like a greater failure than he already appears. Preventing that attack is the only thing he claims to be succeeding at.
What you should be looking for is two Republican candidates, the one Bush supports will lose out, that way the party will hope to defeat the Democrats by not having their guy be a Bush wanabee. Much simpler than allowing an attack.

I'm thinking that Bush's first four years in office was in itself an attack on the nation.
He plundered the treasures of our country. No other president has ever come riding in on such a high horse. He has no reason to be so smug. He has never been successful in anything in his life. He was nothing but a failed businessman. He is, all hat and no cattle. Do you need any proof of this? Look at his official white house biography, it is blank until he became president.
Do you really think for one moment that the true masters of the universe, the ones who are operating in secret, behind the curtains where you can not see them, would have turned over the reins of power to this texas cowboy without some assurance that he would do their bidding.
He comes from a long line of moneyed business interests and clandestine government service. I understand your distrust of the government and your reason for asking this question. You know something is not right.
Do you suppose his father knows the full history of the CIA, their operations and methodology? They have studied and perfected the craft since its inception. They ran Psychological Operations in other countries, staged coups in other countries. They used the same techniques on these others that they are using on us. They control the think tanks that churn out the propaganda. They control the media and the newspapers. These tools are powerful alone.
To them, money is power. They have all the money, they have all the power. The only good thing, we are still free.

I think the terrorists like what they're seeing in American politics today. If things continue as they are, a Democratic congress will be elected this year many of whom would vote to pull the troops out of Iraq and maybe Afghanistan - and probably impeach Bush. That's a win for Al Qaeda, they wouldn't screw up a chance at that for anything. They'll bide their time.

No, in actuality there is not any longer something which could help his acceptance as he's to blame for each little thing that's occurring. (no longer me) that's what Hollywood thinks and by ability of how which one is next to be voted off the island? the suited flow press is heading for an iceberg. it fairly is been actual in previous few elections that, the voters rally for the underdog. So Dubya's low scores propose republicans would be out in tension. at the same time as the Dem's. would be whining approximately some thing or yet another that they only could get elected to, to suited. i'm going to attend and see for myself, as political historical past is with regard to the main mundane repetitive mire.

He doesn't have to let this happen for a Republican victory. All he has to do is sit back and let nit-wits like yourself and the Loony Left (ie: Hitlery Rodham) rant and rave for all voters to see. They'll run to the polls to vote for Republicans!!!
Condeleza in '08!
As far as "letting another attack on his watch", I believe the first World Trade Center bombing happened in 1993. Who was the president that "let" that happen on his "watch"??????

I believe if there is another terroist attack just before the election it would prove the terrorists are in favor of the republicans (not the republicans in favor of terrorists) but they like whats happening and want to keep it that way. If democrats get in they don't know what to expect.

He is working on a plan right now, if the repuglicans lose this election bad enough you will see Bush lose his job, the democrats will have him up on charges for his many crimes against the American people and then the international people can have him to try him for his crimes against humanity.
