Gary Anderson, baddest mofo kicker in the NFL
Tennessee Titans
(Sept. 23, 2002) -- To put things in perspective, Randy Moss and Daunte Culpepper were both five years old when Gary Anderson kicked his first NFL field goal back in 1982. And when Anderson was activated before Sunday's loss to the Carolina Panthers, the Minnesota Vikings kicker became the oldest active player in the NFL.
Anderson, who along with Chiefs kicker Morten Andersen is playing in his 21st season, turned 43 in July. Andersen is 42. There are just four active players in the league who are 40 or older. The other two are Redskins cornerback Darrell Green (42) and Eagles punter Sean Landeta (40).
In NFL history, there have only been 36 players to appear in a game at 40 or older, the oldest being George Blanda at 48. Blanda is one of nine players on the list who is enshrined in the Pro Football Hall of Fame.

I think Landeta is in his mid 40s or maybe early 40s, around 42.
