I met alot of famous people!
Robin Williams. Funny guy...went out of his way to treat his fans good!
Slash. Typical rock star. Concentrated more on groupies.
Paul Stanley of KISS. NICE FREAKING GUY! Really great! Posed for photos and signed whatever!
Sebastian Bach of Skid Row. Hung out with him at a Judas Priest concert. Posed for photos, we even drank together!
Lemmy from Motorhead. A class act all the way!
Bret Hart. Wasn't very nice. But it was an autograph session, so what do you expect when you have a huge lineup?
Chris Jericho. Really, really, really nice guy!

Yes, Clive James (British TV) used to come into my bookshop ... and a lot of other people who since became famous. They were kind of normal, perhaps a little shy ... my guess is that people who have a shyness problem or are somewhat private people make up a 'character' which they become in public to compensate for their shyness. Some of them are so good at it that they become famous. I think that all those people who strike you as really nice are like that.
Paul Simon came to our folk club impromtu before he even recorded. A funny little guy and very shy. He sang well, though ... he had just written 'Homeward Bound' a week or so before (on an English railway station) and he sang it.

Have met quite a few. Celebrities are like all people - some are nice, some are jerks. For example, the Beach Boys were rude and conceited. John Denver was the sweetest most considerate and down to earth person. Most would prefer to be treated with respect and allowed to live their lives and spend time with their families in peace.

In the course of my work I have met quite a lot of famous people
some very nice and some big headed creeps.
Don't be in awe of them they are just the same as us, act natural and not starstruck. The only difference is some of them earn a hell of a lot more money than you or I quite often unjustifiably.

Yes. I met Keanu Reeves. It was while he was filming the Matrix in Sydney. I was working in a building next to a set. I think he was having a break and I was having a look over the barrier and he was right in front of me... He was a bit weird but I had a decent conversation with him about nothing really! He came across as if he was a normal person who was simply bored and just having a random chat to fill in time.

Yes. In the South of France I was a friend of Frank Hardy, the Australian writer, known for his scandalous books about the Australian Government. He was as hard as iron, cold blooded, with a certain charm. He was a misogyny man and a frightful gambler at the Monte Carlo Casino. He was a hard person to get along with but he had talent and he knew it.

Myself and four other girls of the same age won a competion in the Sun newspaper she was the same height as me but had tiny hands! She was very friendly but when I asked if she was dated Michael Hutchence she denied it.

Yes. I met Meat Loaf and Elvira, Mistress of the Dark. My nephew met Laurence Fishburn and John Goodman in the French Quarter. My brother met Daulf Lundgren, I know that's not how you spell it, but he's the guy who played the Russian Boxer in the Rocky movie.
