Why Sports are not spared?

The jaudiced media has affected so many naive and immature minds that even in sports Muslims are branded "Terrorists"! While Muslims do not hold ALL Jews, Hindus and Christians criminals for crimes of some of them. Even some umpires are extremly biased which have converted simple sports into bizzare wars.
When Zedaine bumped his head in the tummy of an Italian player, temporarily people thought that he was mad! However when people realized that his reaction fully justified. Again here there is a clash of values. To those whom mother, sister and daughter mean noting, nothing happened. To those human relations constitute humanity and human superiority over other creatures, it meant a lot. Even World Football Sup was dwarf against the human values. In essence this is not a clash of civilization but rather values. It is a clash of civilization (Islam) vs. pure greed and materialism at the cost of soul!

Zidane is not a terrorist.
Just a hot head. It had nothing to do about Z's mother or sister or daughter. He just lost his temper in a show of poor sportsmanship due to his team's losing the match. A sore loser headbutting an opponent in the chest (not the tummy).

What is the cause of prejudice? The Media? Umpires? Zidane? People at odds with their sister and mother? People who are insensitive with Zidane and his alleged plight? Greed and Materialism?

I say no, it is not any of these things you mention. People, humans fallible as they are make judgments that are not informed enough to have solid base. People judge too quickly and they judge based on partial information.

A basic lesson to learn is the media doesn't get the whole story. Many people are operating in the fantasy that media is un-biased and gets all the facts. They get enough to sell their product and they leave the rest to fate. People cannot use the media to judge accurately, but many do judge based on the media. Here it is the people with faulty judgment, not the media to blame.

The whole Zidane situation will never see the light of day. Only part of it. Even pure greed and materialism's representation in the media is only part of the story. Reserve judgment until you have all the facts and you will be a better person, tolerant of those that are different, respectful of your fellow human.

I watch sports every day. I am watching Little League right now. I have never seen or heard a word spoken about Muslims or any other religion.Zedaine used his mother as a excuse for what he did.All year he has been getting carded He is just the bad boy of soccer..The terriost Muslims do hate Jews,Hindus& Christians.They also hate Muslims who do not agree on how they have mis took the Korean.

I would guess that you are a Muslim. If you have a gripe, take it to Allah. I am sure he will listen and comfort you.
