My husband has a low platelet count when he gets chemotherapy ... a low platelet count decreases the body's ability to form clots ... the answer is D.

A low platelet count means she has the disease called Thrombocytopenia.... it is a medical condition. With a low platelet count in the blood, it means she will not be able to stop bleeding when she is cut or bruised... the blood is just not able to clot. So the answer is D.

D. Red cells carry oxygen and when you don't have enough you're anemic. White cells fight infection so without them you'd get sick a lot. Platelets are the component of blood that clots. The scab on a cut is made of platelets. So, if you don't have enough you'll keep bleeding longer.
