If it weren't for the death of Biggie Smalls (and that horredndous mangling of a perfectly good Police song), would anybody have ever heard of him?

Whether we realize it or not, P. Diddy is a mogul. He owns and runs his own record company and has a successful clothing label, Sean John. He gives a lot of money to charity and blew everyone away with his excellent time in the New York Marathon! (Anyone remember "Diddy Runs the City"? His bodyguards couldn't keep up!) The man does a little bit of everything and he does it well. More power to 'em!

Also, he had a really bad reputation WHILE he was dating Jennifer Lopez. As soon as they broke up, things fell into place for him. Go figure.

Personally, I think he's a bit of a goofball, but he's a successful and rich goofball, so who can argue?

P.S. Master P is (Lil') Romeo's father.

I watched some show on him and found out a lot of things about him I never expected. It made me respect him a lot. I don't like his music, and don't know what the hype is about, but I figured it was because I didn't like rap or hip-hop. I agree with you about the name thing though. I can't imagine sittting around trying to think of a cool rap name, and the best he could do was P. Diddy -- after trying out Puffy and Puff Daddy for a while.
