What attributes should a high end residential real estate leasing company have?

I am moving to the Phila. suburbs and I wonder how to recognize a responsive agency to help me search for upper scale apartments until I buy or build a home.
I am interested in the main line area. I am a single woman with no experience in this area. i was referred to Ask Yahoo as a good source of around town info. Any ideas anyone?

I would look at the market there, and see which company is listing most of the upper scale apts. Those who live in the area already know who the best people are, so I would go with the company that lists the greatest number of the high end real estate. Good luck.

In today's Internet age, you really shouldn't waste your time or the time of a real-estate agent to look for an apartment unless it's a courtesy offered by the real-estate agent your using to help you find a home. But that won't happen often as many agents stick to the higher commissions of home sales.

You'll want to use Apartmentratings.com as a filter to weed out anything that might look good from all the marketing, model apartments, and sales-talk but might actually be a bad experience to live at. It's a great way to get the dirt on a place in advance so you can avoid the headaches.
