The Rotors are triangular in shape with a special tip for sealing the combustion chamber the Chamber is an oblong figure 8 or two circles overlapping. the plugs are in the center of the overlap. as the rotor in in the upper chamber it pulls in air/fuel mix. then to of the tips seal this chamber and as it rotates the chamber get SMALLER...smaller then at the right time just as the chamber would break the seal it fires sending the energy into the lower chamber this happens in two chambers alternately. Piston engines go Boing Boing Boing but the mazda goes HuMMMM.
