Currently there is one state where public nudity is legal and that is Vermont. All other states in the United States have anti nudity ordinances. Within the next 20 years there will be another state that legalizes nudity. In two hundred years public nudity will only be legal in the eastern parts of the United States and some western states. It won't be until the 2490's that public nudity is legalized in the United States for all 53 states. There will however be some western states that will legalize nudity in three hundred years. But then again if enough nudists band together maybe nudity will be legalized for the U.S. sooner now that I've mentioned when it will be legalized.

Well there is a group who rides naked through downtown burlington every year to promote buying local foods or something, As far as I've heard you can walk around naked in public, you just can't take off your clothes in public. I would check with the police though, just to make sure.

Yes, if you do not call attention to yourself and don't get caught, but remember if you do get caught you will end up on the sex offenders list and will have to report your address every year or go to jail.
