I just got a new iPod and I was wondering, if you can download tv show, shouldnt you be able to download from a DVD?

Congrats for the iPod. Yeah, u can download I mean transfer DVD movies to your iPod. To do so 1.U need a program that copys any kind of videoes. (Like Hero DVD Player or any other program like that.) 2.Then the softwares comes with your iPod must let you convert the file type compatible with your iPod. 3.Then just copy it to your iPod. May be it'll take much longer time to Save the recorded file-convert to the playable format in iPod-copy it to your iPod. I hope it's enough information to solve your problem.

It's a little more complicated than that but I know many people with many full length movies on their IPODs
