Fast metabolism. If you're young just go with it, because if you shovel food down and eat real fatty food all the time it will catch up with you. I was always 100-105 until I was about 19 yrs and I wanted to gain weight to have some figure to me and I ate and ate, well it caught up to me and now I'm about 122-125 and it shows on my stomach! My body was meant to be smaller and not to add fat because it doesn't go with my body frame at all. I am now working out a lot and eating 5 healthy small meals a day to get back.

Genetics and fast metabolism. I'm 5'3'' and I eat like a pig. I can eat big macs and buffets all the time and I still weigh 100 lbs no matter what. My mom is only 95 lbs and my 2 fav cousins are also 100 lbs. Btw, we rarely exercise. We just play sports for fun every now and then and yep that's it.

Couple of reasons:

1) Quick metabolism: They burn calories quite quickly and are able to burn off my calories than they take in during the day.

2) Muscle Mass: Having more muscle mass allows for lowers your bodyfat percentage, because your bodyfat is a factor of how much muscle you have on your body compared to fat. Additionally, muscle is more metabolically active than fat, so a muscular person must eat more to maintain his muscle - So one is able to eat alot and still retain low body fat levels.

That's me. I've always been super high energy. Loved to run around all day when I was a kid. Sorta like Forrest Gump.
These days, it sucks for me to be so thin as a dude. I eat like a pig, but it goes right through me.

As far as the reason? Maybe it's because I ate a leprechaun that I caught in my sandbox when I was 5. He didn't taste very good but my cat told me to do it, so I did. I felt bad for the poor leprechaun, but I can't live my entire life regreting it.
