This question is a little out there, what is your most feared disabilty?
Mine is going blind, If I wen't blind, I might as well not live. I love to read and not beening able to read visually. Not being able to see the sky, sun, moon stars. Painting all those things. That's my most feared what's your?

I would say I have to fear going deaf.I can live without my sight.But just the thought of never being able to hear Beethoven's Moonlight Sonata depresses me.Books can be made with braille, and I will have my memories of what a Southwestern sunset looks like,but there's not a substitute for going to a concert and listening to the symphony.

While working in health care the instructor told us that the worst disability for old folks is the loss of hearing because then they feel isolated (and can't learn to sign at that age or read braille).

Being completely paralyzed seems scary to me. I could deal with having paralyzed feet, but if I couldn't use my hands at all, that would be horrible and I doubt I'd want to live like that.

sight...going blind would suck. but it runs in my family for some reason. Only reason why i dont wear glasses right now is cause i have contacts.
