Well I think keep it fairly simple, you don't want to be overdressed, just as much as you don't want to be under-dressed (i.e. do NOT wear jeans!)

I think you should wear either a simple dress, or some plain trousers/skirt with a feminine top. Dressing men is a lot easier, suit trousers, shirt, tie, done.

A wedding is a formal affair. It is not likely that one wants to contemplate repeating this event often. Wear a more formal dress and have your husband rent a tuxedo as respect is the key word here. I am sure that you wouldn't tolerate anyone wearing jeans and other informal wear to a serious gathering such as a wedding, especially one in which you were the star characters. With this in mind, you should dress accordingly. "The Lord daily loadeth us with benefits." Selah. - Psalm 68:19. Remember this, "If God be for us, who can be against us?" - Romans 8:31. Peace and God Bless.

DO NOT WEAR JEAN whatever you do...its disrespectful to wear jeans when the clothing attire is formal...buy a nice dress and have your husband wear a nice shirt and pants...just make sure none of its white!!

a hoop is a logo, it does no longer outline. i latterly lost my wedding ceremony band - it slipped off at the same time as we've been planting this previous spring. I fairly have worn that ring for almost 24 years now. that's without doubt one among the few cloth issues that had meaning. I remind myself it fairly is only a fabric 'element' yet i'm unhappy that's long gone. we have not got the money on the 2nd to replace it, yet we can in some unspecified time interior the destiny. So, suited now i'm married and not wearing a hoop (I never needed an engagement ring). i attempt to humorous tale approximately it - I tell my husband to maintain his distance as quickly as we are out as i could be waiting to %. somebody up - lol. additionally, i understand couples who're allergic (I fairly have a pal who can no longer placed on any metallic) or whose jobs require they placed on no rings. particularly circumstances there are stable motives people do no longer placed on a hoop while married. I in all probability does no longer word if somebody grow to be no longer wearing a hoop. It does no longer be counted to me.

No tshirts! :-)

Is it a fancy country club evening wedding? stick to very formal dresses or suits.

Is it a down to earth community center wedding/reception? Any nice semi-casual wear will do. A tie might be nice on the guys but a full suit isn't required.

Why dont you ask your other family members to see what all other people will be wearing?

it is based mainly on the wedding itself. if everything seems to be going formally you may want to dress formal as well. try a dark tone dress. nothing too short or too tight. your husband should wear dark slacks and a dark shirt that would compliment your dress...not necessarily match it.

Where is the wedding? What tume of day? If during the day, a casual dress is appropriate. If in the evening, then a dressy dress is more appropriate. However, if this is something at their home or outside, it may be more relaxed and you could wear a casual dress in the evening.
