Who was nestor? What did he do and why? I have search the internet all day and still have not figured this out. If anyone could answer this for me, I would really appreciate it for me. You could also point me into the right direction of this topic with website links. (I do not mind looking it up myself) Thanks!!!

Nestor fought along side of Odysseus in Troy. Athena told Telemachus, Odysseus' son, to go to Nestor for help in finding his father. I don't remember what he said to Telemachus. I think the Nestor episode is around Book 15, but you might want to look in Books 1-4.

I thought nestor was some kind of fruit that only the gods were allowed to eat. I don't know I could be wrong.
