PEOPLE ARE DYING TODAY IN SUDAN.
Why don't we stop the dying in Darfur now instead of concentrating all of our efforts on events of the 1980's?

Very few people in this country (US) are even aware of the genocide occurring in Darfur. It's up to us to spread the word. I have a sign in front of my house that has gotten people asking questions about Darfur. I also support SaveDarfur.org as much as I can. If the media would spotlight the suffering of the people of Darfur, Sudan maybe there would be a louder outcry against it. It's been going on for over 3 years.

Do you hear lost in space blaming the currant situation on Clinton and Carter. It is happining now, the answer about the assets of Sudan is probably the most correct. There were far worse situations going when we attacked Iraq, but Bush chose to ignor them. It is slowly coming back to bite him and I hope it bites him on the azz come this Nov. election.

my dear you are one person after my own heart.... long time ago I told my sis this:
" People do not care either about Sudan or about Darfur 'cos they have nothing to offer to the world except poverty, hunger, diseases, deaths, etc, etc..... so why would the world want to go save these poor, dying millions when nothing is gained out of saving them!"
