I always took vitamins as a part of my morning routine, so I figured I'd just change off my regular regiment with the prenatal vitamins. Unfortunately, I couldn't keep them down, so now I take them right before I go to bed. That seems to work. I don't think I'd recommend changing them with a regular or kids' vitamin because prenatal vitamins have certain things, like folic acid, etc., that are helpful during pregnancy. The best thing would be to talk to your doctor.

When I was pregnant the prenatal vitamins used to make me throw up blood so the doctor told me to stop taking them. That was with my first baby and I never took them with my second and both of my children are completely healthy. I am not a doctor though so really you should check with them before you stop taking them since everybody is different. Good Luck and God Bless!!!
