at the same time as my oldest son became 13, I took him on a 4-day, 325-mile motorbike excursion and he did basically effective. He became on his own motorbike, no longer a tandem. one in all my brothers undertook a a million-day, 160-mile motorbike vacation at the same time as he became 15. In both situations, they educated a lot to be able to do the rides; clone of any grownup, they all started with small rides and worked their way up.
