Hey I'm not gonna like go up to every black guy I see and ask him out but I think Black guys are cute she doesn't THAT'S WHAT I'M ASKING DUH!

Grumpy, there are still too many racist in the world. Relationships are hard enough under normal circumstances.

Well, I'm a black man and I wolud answer by saying to that it depends on the Black man....do you like the thug "Ghetto" type Black or the straightedge responsible Black. (Don't gasp, we do exist...stop watching those damned sitcoms, will ya?)
Are you attracted to us, because of or skin clolour or our character, or both.....what do you look for in a man? What are your ideals? It would be hard to answer specifically without know the answers to some of these questions? But I can go back to the old cliche, "Beauty is in the eye of the beholder". So you have to make up your on mind what's right or wrong for you.

I read the other answers and by now I bet you are running to the hills away from any black person after hearing what (OTHERWORLDTRADER) and (CRUACHANMUSIC) had to say about blacks. I didn't know I was all that bad after hearing them i am the scum of the earth. So little white riding hood you had better look out for us big bad men, HOOOWWWWW.

take it from someone whose dated many black guys ...............some are great and wonder and would want to give you the whole world and there are others who really don't know what they want
besides of the skin color they are like anyother guy here on this earth.....some are nice while other aren't
your friends just needs to go get to know a black guy personally and then she may change her mind.

I side with your friend. She is trying to help you and you should listen. Awesome is not The word but awful is closer. The culture difference is so great that very few relationships with black men work. I mean unless it's money on their side they have little to offer. (this is my opinion you asked for). Black males are such the large majority in aids, and other venereal related disease that black women are looking elsewhere.
Black men are so far into drugs, alcohol, crime and homosexuality that they are the fastest growing criminal element in the country, black males homosexuals are the fastest growing homosexual group in America, and They out number all others in drug and alcohol use.
This is from studies done on them, and black women do have a legitimate complaint.
If you are thinking of their sexual powers it's a myth. They are legends in their own minds. I met black women in college who were upset in the choice of black males they could relate to, and it was th black males personal problem. One they have yet to handle. It's one the new leader of the NAACP say they must address if they wish to become respected and mainstream Americans.

I tend to be more attracted to a guy based on how he behaves than on his appearance. Sure there are good-looking black guys.

uhhh, can you say "hey mister, you looking for a good time"? because if you get with the wrong black guy you're gonna end up on a street corner making money for him...So, i hope you're smarter than that, There are a lot of good black guys and white guys and to be fair, a lot of loser black guys and white guys...good luck

Uhhh... That depends on the individual not the race. You should'nt want to date someone because of the color of their skin. you should want to date them for they're personality.

The nice ones, yes. But most are jerks. This may be caused by high levels of testosterone. It is a proven FACT that black males ON AVERAGE have higher testosterone levels. Basically, they act more like animals. ON AVERAGE.
In no way am I intending this to offend black people. It is a simple fact. Many of my friends are black.
