i just met a frien at school, and she totally trusts me, and i know i can keep a secret after she told me what the secret was i was astonshied! it had something to do with her parents if you know what i mean.....anyways what should i do, im in a big mess right now, i mean have you ever met someone with the scariest life ever???

Well, if it's something that her parents are doing that is hurting her, putting her life in jeopardy or illegal, you should tell a counselor or your parents right away (or even call the cops) - don't worry about her being mad at you if its something that huge. If she just has a really messed up life, and its nothing that is going to get you hurt or in trouble, just hold on for the ride - wacky people tell the best stories!

well, if she is in danger, even though she might hate you for it at the moment you need to tell someone, tell someone you trust, a teacher at your school, your school counsler, a parent, another good friend, and in the end if she is in real danger then you might have to call the police. She might hate you for it right when you do it but she knows that you are just looking out for her, that just shows how much you actually care about her, and if she cant see that then she isnt as good of a friend that you thought.

It depends on the secret.
If this secret has to be reported to police you should talk to adults and let them handle this.but if this secret is supposed to be for their family only then you are out of it.do not get yourseld onto their mess.
you're friend have trusted you.know what your responsibilities as a friend are.

Try to get her to tell whoever needs to know her secret, whatever it is. Don't go blabbing about it yourself, unless you think she is in severe danger.
