Kindness is in small quantities these days...less people go out of their way for a good deed than ever before...kindness is language of the soul.
Respect is never a weakness. Respect for others (even when they may not respect you) is a sign of true maturity and understanding of others' opinions.
Tolerance is something not to be sneered at. Great is the man who can see another man and know of both their polarizations, but still accept him for who he is...flaws and all...

I say no they are a sign of Strength, and positivity! A sign of weakness is those that have to go and insult people just to make them self feel stronger! If you have to bully one to show you're not weak you are hiding the fact you are weak. God is kind mostly and tolerant to much cause allows to much evil. Does that make God weak? I don't think so!

In todays dog eat dog world it can be seen as a sign of weakness.
If you and some one else were going for the same position in a company and you new a dirty secret about that person, that would eliminate them as your competition would you, If you know it guarantees you the highly paid position. I think most would say yes
If it is then I'm very much screwed d. Because I have all those traits
But I have some of the not so good ones also..

Only if you compromise your own values and well being in the process of being any of the above. Other than that, they are some of the best qualities a person can have. It is important to carefully gauge what is appropriate and when. Respect is huge! The more people learn to truly respect and communicate from that point the less wars we'll have.

once I used the word "tolerance" in a group of women and they showed me shock and surprise on their faces and said a person should never tolerate anything. To this date I don't know what they were talking about.
No, I don't think kindness, respect and tolerance are signs of weakness.

It requires tremendous strength to display those characteristics day in and day out. It requires an engaged intellect, empathy, compassion, self-control, and a willingness to challenge one's own beliefs. Obviously, not signs of weakness. People who don't have such gifts, talents, and discipline pretend their brutish force is something besides pitiful.

I would have to say no. I try to be kind, respectful and tolerant with everyone, it just shows you were brought up well. Good parenting award to your parents!

No they are a sign of good people. People who care. People who have good self esteem, people who were taught well.
I think just the opposite is a terrible sign of a weakness.

hell no! if you can be kind even when u dont want to, be respectful even if u dont like the person, and be tolerant of things or people that annoy you then youre pretty darn strong to put up with that stuff! more power to them!! =)
