Yes, long distance relationships do work out. My now husband and I started going out when I was 15 and we lived 330kms away (we met on summer vacation). We talked on the phone (no computers then) and tried to see each other as often as possible. We lasted like that for over a year, and 20 years later we are still together!! Don't give up, if its meant to be,....it will.

my girlfriend and I have been long distance for three years now. It's hard. very hard. we only get to see each other every two weeks or so and that's only at best. the key is to not let the small things get to you guys. you'll find the best thing to do most of the time is to forgive and forget since make up sex is out. im usually better about that than she is but we still work it out. talk, laugh, learn to accept the things that annoy you about him and if he does the same things should work out. enjoy whatever time you guys can spend together. i hope it all works out for you.

I live 3000 miles from my lover and it is tough tough tough, thank goodness he has alot of $$ and can fly me around to meet up with him. Otherwise I don't think it would work out. I don't think any relationship that there is alot of arguing will last - sorry - but you can't bicker and each other and expect to go to sleep peaceful do you?

omg your going threw the same $hit as me i know its flippin hard. what i noticed when i argue is be-cuz of the fact that you dont get to be with them everyday and be abl to talk to them all the time it just hurts and then come alongs suspicion about who they hang around with but all you need is 1.trust 2.communication 3.love you just have to belive and talk about whats on you mind ever since i did that its been very good and u have to be very honest

Oh yes they do, I call him every other night and when I tell him who it is.. I start to cry .. and he loves it.. hes so quiet and sometimes he chortles and says sweet things..
I love him no matter what!

But I always feel like a used corn husk when I hang up..

oh well.

HES THE ONE!

hmm, ive been to that, all i can say is that there are things that words cannot explain. but still, you can do all your best to maintain it but the problem of being apart is that you don;t know if what he's telling you is what he's really doing.
