natural colors. if you're not sure what this is for your complexion dress up, go to the mall, sit down at a counter and get a free facial, then choose the natural color and buy it. or go to a drugstore and try to match it from your head...or just use chapstick or a clear, non shine lip gloss. good luck on your interview! and don't worry they don't really care about your lips...I mean if they're green or blue or black or orange or red they'll notice them and maybe think about it for a while but thats not mostly what they're focusing on (=

A counselor is considered a fairly serious job; one that needs to invoke confidence from those receiving the counselling.
It depends on the situation. Who are you counselling? Is it mainly youth? If so, wear bold colours if that is your style and you feel comfortable. If you are working more with an adult audience, more neutral colours would be more appealing, as neutral (i.e. pale, natural colours) are more indicative of a professional than bright colours or Gothic style make-up.
You are the same person whether you wear black lipstick, fuschia, or moonkissed magic on your lips. But perception is everything. People judge. Especially at an interview. Good luck.
(I, myself, wore lip gloss at my interview with just a hint of colour. I got hired.)

You shouldnt wear lipstick to an interview. You should wear lip gloss. You can outline your lips with any color of lip liner (soft colors, nothing to flashy) and apply lip gloss on top.

You want to go pretty natural for this, so pinch your cheeks gently two or three times, and the resulting colour will be your natural blushing shade. Try to get as close to that shade as possible.
Good luck getting the job!!

something not TOO bright or noticeable. maybe a soft, mature color--not bubblegum pink or super glittery. and not too much, that looks bad too.
